I am a mom of two fantastic boys, one amazingly crazy dog, and a husband with whom I love spending life. With a full time career in marketing, I spend most of my free time running errands, cooking, cleaning, getting someone else dressed, and on rare occasion, living life vicariously through those crazy Housewives. I love trips to the beach, watching college sports (Kentucky basketball!) and the NFL, as well as entertaining friends and family in our home. After growing up in Lexington, attending college in Bowling Green, my husband, Nathan, and I moved to Baltimore, MD and Ann Arbor, MI before finally settling in Nashville. There isn’t a thing I don’t love about this city.
In February 2015, our youngest son, only 14 months at the time, was diagnosed with celiac disease. As a control freak, I naturally googled and read just about everything I could about the disease, its affects and how to best manage. I’ve learned a lot, but mostly I’ve learned it’s a process and a daily education. I won’t be perfect. My hope is that this blog is not only therapy for myself, but can also provide answers and some relief to a parent going through a similar situation.
